The other day I was going for a movie and asked my friends if they wanted to come. Most of them said “The movie is really bad its better you don’t go for it” and when I asked them if they had already watched the movie their answer was “No, I didn’t watch it but I know the movie is bad because the critics gave it a bad review”. My question here is ‘How can you built your own opinion based on someone else’s ?’
I think people just don’t think on their own because it is easy for them to adopt someone else’s opinion. Every article or review given in a newspaper or magazine is from that author’s perspective and not ours. We may agree or disagree to something but for that we need to think on our own instead of blindly believing whatever the other person is saying. Every person is entitled to an opinion.
Fear is one of the key factors which resists a person from giving his view. It can be fear of going against the majority or fear of being laughed at or simply fear of giving an opinion. One of the basic steps is to overcome this fear and stand up for oneself. A person has to believe in himself to be able to voice their opinions.
I ‘ve started writing this blog to give my personal views and to speak my mind out. I hope after reading this article other people also start thinking and speaking for themselves.

after completing my 10th from marathi medium,when i joined collg
i was very nervous coz i was in a frnd circle where most of them
were from english medium nd i used to keep quite simply coz afraid
of looking foolish in front them.now it has been 6 years nd trough
preparation nd having a positive attitude toward life ,i somewhat
managed to overcome this fear....
so i think there r many reasons why people
dont form firm opinion abt anything .
dabbaaaaaa change ur profile name to "BLOG UPDATED" so many people
can read ur blog,so it can be useful for others...
deby.....i really loved the way u have written the article....u have framed d sentences v v well....i totally agree wid u tht most of d critics give a biased view of films.But there are a few who critique films based on all aspects.....one can listen to their views....but one must never be afaraid of giving ones opinion...no doubt abt tht...
yeah i agree to some extent.But what one has to notice is that film critics are only doing their job on voicing their opinions.
Taking feedbacks from our friends or relatives may be a good option
Well i completely agree with you but sometimes doesnt it makes sense not to say anything against the crowd, not bcos of fear though but bcos u know the psychology of people.
But yes i agree with the point highlighted by you that judge things yourself and stand by it too.

debs, i agree to a certain extent with ur views bt sometimes you have to rely on experienced ppls judgement or you now what will be "The Happening".
Bt yeah u can always take da risk, coz u need not reply on others opinion.
all in all good attempt but there is room for improvement.
