DADA WILL NEVER RETIRE FROM OUR HEARTS

It was the time when Dada became the captain of the Indian cricket team, I noticed this great man and have loved and supported him all the time, since then. Dada has been one of the prime reasons I began loving the game of cricket.

And today when the world is bidding him goodbye I realized how much i am going to miss him. Ill never forget the moment when Dada removed his TShirt in Lords, Indias win against Australia, 2003 World Cup , and many more. The TV kept showing Dada everywhere, his old glorious days and how we wont be able to see him anymore, and this was the time when I felt like bursting into tears.

I would all the time fight with anybody and everybody who said a word against Dada. But now i realised how people will keep talking against him(thats all they can do anyways), he doesnt have to prove anything to anybody because no matter what we will always believe in him.So truly said by Ajay Jadeja that he is the one who changed the face of Indian cricket. His achievements both as a player and a captain is boundless. There have been many great players but being known as a great captain is something totally different. Its said that a captain is as good as his team. Thus the task of managing a team is much higher than scoring runs or taking wickets.

I am not writing this article to prove how good or great Ganguly is, I am writing this to bid farewell to a great player, captain and person 'Sourav Ganguly' and show my love and support for him. He has been through a lot of trials and tribulations and has always come out as a winner which has been a learning for me. His life has also taught me how one can convert failure into success and how one need not care about what the world says if one has belief in himself.

Dada and cricket have always been synonymous for me. So Cricket will not remain the same for me anymore without him. I am really feeling very emotional right now writing about him and watching his press conference.

I just want to end this article saying " Dada you may have retired from cricket but you will never retire from our hearts. We love you and always will. You will live forever in our memories and our hearts." Cheers.

Nobody can dispute that he was the most successful captain of India and the 'God of off-side'.I will certainly miss an aggresive and charismatic batsman like Ganguly .i am the biggest fan of his towering sixes and the way he was brutal to spinners,so I will miss that DADAGIRI on the field.
Debi,i know u r the true follower of DADA and it reflects from ur writing.Good work, keep it up.
